The units contain the GPS receiver, determines periodically the position and integrated modem sends collected data via a mobile network operator to a central server Sherlog trace. Collected data can be viewed from any computer/terminal equipment connected to the internet and equipped with a web browser. It follows that the service is fully hosted – its use is not subject by installing, managing and updating the computer program. Regular updates are maps included in the monthly fee.
